According to a database compiled by the Center for the Study of the Drone at Bard College (love that name – “the drone” is much cooler than “drones” for some reason), three groups in New Hampshire have received an exemption from the FAA to fly drones: JS Photography in Concord, Skyflik Aerial Photography in Plaistow, and Thomas Sevigny in Dover, who like the others uses it for aerial photography.

Check out the database here.

Several firms or groups in Vermont and Maine have also gotten exemptions, and no fewer than 22 are in Massachusetts, including  researchers, construction companies and real estate firms.
