This has no New Hampshire connection, but it’s too good to pass up. There’s a petition to the government of the United Kingdom to alter the picture it uses on road signs pointing to soccer (“football”) stadiums, because the current logo is geometrically impossible: It shows the ball covered entirely with hexagons, rather than the necessary mix of pentagons and hexagons.

I learned of it from Matt Parker, a comedian with a mathematical bent. Learn more at his YouTube explainer.  If you’ve really incensed, you can print out a sticker like the one above from this site.  Unless you’re a British citizen, you can’t sign the petition, but you can still enjoy the kerfuffle.
