If you missed the inaugural Science Cafe Concord last week, take heart: ConcordTV will air a distilled version of the two-hour discussion on its public channel, Comcast Channel 22.
The 28-minute broadcast version of the event will air Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. It can also be seen on the Science Cafe page at the station’s website, at yourconcordtv.org/projects/science-cafe-concord.
The full two-hour version will be available on the website soon.
The discussion, which featured the Concord fire chief, the state medical examiner and two clinicians, concerned the science, biology and pharmacology of the opioid crisis.
Science Cafe Concord is a monthly series of casual discussions about topics from a science and technology point of view, sponsored by the Monitor. The free event is held at The Draft Sports Bar, 67 S. Main St., the first Tuesday of most months from 6 to 8 p.m.
