The United Nations has issued a warning that the worldwide loss of natural pollinators like native bees, flies and butterflies, above the troubles facing honeybees, is posing yet another threat to global food supply.
But we knew that: UNH sponsored a “pollinators in trouble” seminar in Concord three months ago, as you will recall.
We’ve gone the “support natural pollinators” route at my house, although as I noted in November this is partly because our honeybees keep dying.
