We’re all familiar with the phrase “It’s an ill wind that blows no good,” the optimistic belief that you can find silver linings in all but the worst of events.
Unfortunately, the less-cheerful antithesis – “It’s a rare wind that blows no ill” – is also true: You can find unintended downsides in all but the very best of events.

Hi David,
Thanks for the great article on the effects of LED lighting. At the bottom is a link to an article from CNN referencing AMA recommendations for the specific color temp. Do you know what CCT Nashua (where I live) and other NH towns are choosing? My fear is that the DPW will not choose appropriately and will also simple replace all the existing lights without eliminating those that are not truly needed.
