The Wilton, N.H., police are darned if they’re going to stoop to using brand names in their police log, as reported in this week’s Milford Cabinet:
July 8: Police responded to Pleasant Street for a report of someone riding up and down the street, stopping constantly to check his cellphone. He was playing an internet game similar to geocaching, and was looking for the marked locations in town.
“An internet game similar to geocaching – gotta catch ’em all!”
The funny thing is, Niantic had a similar game almost 4 years ago. Ingress is a fun game too.
Pokemon Go used the Ingress map as a base for its system (which is why it’s harder to play PG in black and poor neighborhoods – Ingress players didn’t go there much)
