The Twin Mountain General Store has, according to FreeKeene, set up a public bitcoin machine, the third in New Hampshire. I am dubious about the long-term reality of bitcoin (as compared to the blockchain, which is revoluntionary), but this is still pretty cool. Another thing to see when you visit the North Country.
A mention posted in Facebook gave this local-pride-chest-pounding tally:
Public Bitcoin Vending Machines:
NH = 3
ME = 0
VT = 0
MA = 0
CT = 0
RI = 0
The photo above, from FreeKeene, shows the store owner’s political thinking, which I suspect was more important in the bitcoin decision than business calculations.
