The Dartmouth Toxic Metals Superfund Research Program will be hosting a public talk on “Arsenic in New Hampshire: Understanding Arsenic in Food, Water & Other Sources” this Wed, Apr 26 at 2 pm at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord.

In celebration of Dartmouth’s recently launched website, Arsenic and You (http://www.dartmouth.edu/~arsenicandyou/index.html), the public talk will provide consumer-friendly trips about arsenic. Researchers, representatives from environmental agencies and Congressional staff members will discuss: new initiatives to improve arsenic awareness, water testing and water treatment options for private well owners, and other efforts to protect your health and reduce your exposure from this toxic metal.
