Oracle made a nice time lapse of Manchester Millyard’s rooftop Dyn sign being replaced by a sign for Oracle, which bought Dyne in 2016. The music may not be to everybody’s taste – but then, what music is?

I figured that this would happen. Larry Ellison doesn’t play second fiddle to anybody.
This makes me sad! Surely they could have just incorporated Oracle into the existing sign?
The ‘Dyn’ sign was a nice nod to the Pandora sign that sat on top of that building for several decades. They even had the woman whose script the ‘Pandora’ sign was based on do the ‘Dyn’ lettering. More info at the Dyn blog here: https://dyn.com/blog/the-history-behind-dyns-new-sign/
