Erika Rydberg, a 3D printing expert with the interesting job title of Digital Creation Technologist at Plymouth State University, spent two weeks at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah, where people go to simulate life on Mars (except for the gravity) to help develop technologies and processes for when we do make it to the Red Planet.
I wrote about her plans a couple months ago (you can read it here). But next week you can do better: hear her talk about it in Franklin, New Hampshire. She’ll be talking at The Franklin Studio, an interesting multi-use space in an old mill building, on the evening of May 23 as part of regional TedX talks. The only information about it is, unfortunately, via Facebook.
