New Hampshire Tech Hub, a recently started news/event source for the state’s tech community, has a story about a tourist shop in downtown Portsmouth that only accepts cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.
It’s called the Free State Bitcoin Shoppe – and I must say that I love the tacky/charming “shoppe” spelling, ensuring they don’t take themselves too seriously. It sells “crypto-themed gifts, seditious books, pro-science t-shirts, “Live Free Or Die” propaganda” and other products and ideas associated with the Free State Project and the adjoining libertarian mindset.
