When I posted on reddit that two bills seeking to get NH to use gold and silver as currency were the dumbest proposed bills in the New Hampshire legislature this year, I was pointed to this chemtrail gem (HB1700):

This seems to have plunged deep into the electromagnetic-conspiracy-theory world (not a world you want to be in) – but New Hampshire does have a history of laws about weather modification as I have noted a few times, most recently in 2021 (column is here)

Are you aware that the most recent science has established that microwave radiation injury occurs at exposure levels that are thousands of times lower than the industry-driven commercial guidelines. Please review:

Granite Geek: One who has concrete beliefs about subjects beyond his understanding. This is the goofiest low information comment against one of the most important pieces of legislation presented to the granite state. Does this geek think the fact that radiation can kill animals is a conspiracy theory? How about electrocution? Is that a conspiracy theory? How about, staring at the sun can cause blindness? Or putting a cat in a microwave oven can cause death to the cat? Has Granite Geek remained completely ignorant to the fact That weather modification has not been denied, but bragged about, by governments the world over for decades? Especially China, Russia, and the U.S.. I hate to insult, but am completely fed up with small minded geeks.

Still, making “polluting emissions” a criminal offense may be a big step forward for NH.
Just curious what makes this bill “goofy”? Not sure what the “electromagnetic-conspiracy-theory” is. This bill, I understand, is addressing unwanted atmospheric intervention as shown in patents, government papers, federal and state budgets and the harms it presents as shown in water and soil tests, among other data.
Not sure what motivation there would be in mocking a bill that aims to keep strong toxins out of our (your) air, water and soil not to mention disrupting natural weather systems.

Anyway the bill got killed this week, so that’s one good thing.

Just because you think its a “conspiracy” perhaps you should read about Geo-Engineering. You wrote this article to be funny but in the end you’re the one that’s going to end up looking like a clown.
Geoengineering is the real (but theoretical) technology that chemtrail nuts love to talk about because they think it sounds more credible. Heck, the biggest chemtrail website on the entire website goes by the name “Geoengineering Watch” to try and fool people into thinking it’s not just about ranting at clouds.
Geoengineering from airplanes is not being carried out anywhere. If it ever is, it certainly won’t make “chemtrails”.

Not only did Mr Gerhard spend 12 years in jail for some rather interesting crimes, he has also recently shared his thoughts on Twitter on the moon landings (fake) and the shape of the Earth (go on, take a wild guess – hint: it’s not a globe).
Fortunately, the NH House Science committee has not swallowed the Kool-Aid and voted on January 30 to kill HB1700, by 16 votes to 3.
