The Monadnock Ledger has a story about the sixth anniversary of Antrim Wind Farm, a relatively small (28.8 MW, 9 turbines) operation. It faced a lot of the usual opposition and took four years to get approval, part of the reason there are only three wind farms of any size in New Hampshire.
The story (you can read it here, with lots of details about lighting, bird strikes, noise and sunlight-flicker) is a reminder that wind power is here to stay.

The people impacted by it construction still don’t like it, but things like noise complaints are not evaluated well. I bought my Raspberry Shake & Boom to record the infrasound (the Boom), but somehow never got involved with people there to record it. Besides, the seismometer half turned out to be such an amazing instrument that I’m loathe to take it out of my garage here in Sutton lest it miss something neat.
